Striped Goodness.

Yummy kelly green furniture makes this outdoor patio heaven! And what about some ceiling stripes. Yes please!

Might be a little to much stripeage going on. Is that a word? Probably not, but I'm using it anyway. I still love this spot.

What a lovely room! Full of color and interest. Love the striped wallpaper, a twist on traditional stripes.

How about some striped bathroom love. Try it in different color schemes for a variety of different looks.

Do you have stripes in your home? Sadly I don't, but I really would like to incorporate some. Hmm now where to put them. After looking at these pictures I guess I really gravitated towards black and white stripes, who knew?

Color Of The Week: Pink + Gold

Pink + Gold is one of my favorite color combos. It's old hollywood glam, feminine, romantic and makes my heart skip a beat. Love this color combo.

Pink and gold loveliness.

Intricate pink and gold door.

Pink accents with white walls and furniture and a gold screen. I love the mix of gold and silver. Don't be to afraid to mix metals. When done right it looks just lovely...

That is an incredible pink and gold wall that I am quite obsessed with!

Project Bathroom

My bathroom right now is builder basic. I'm so bored with it, it's a total snooze fest. I walk in there and am not happy with how it looks. Here's some of the bathroom's I'm lusting after. I wish I could wave my magic wand and have one of these lovelies take its place.

Flowered pink wallpaper and gold accents.

Polka dot walls and ceiling + black vanity and silver accents = AMAZING!

Gorgeous wallpaper, the gold sconces frame a sunburst mirror. I love the gold detailing in the vanity.

I luv me some gold in a room. How amazing is the coffee table? It truly is a work of art.

Get The Look: Designer Look On A Budget

How pretty is this bedroom designed by Sarah Richardson? I love the kelly green mixed with bright gold and lots of white. Here's how you can re-create the look in your own home.... on a budget and not spend a designer fortune. There are some spots to splurge and other spots to save.

1. Pre-Cut Headboard $197
This is a great alternative to buying already upholstered headboard. But to save even more money grab some plywood and make your own. Use this tutorial.

2. Lee Jofa Fabric

3. Kelly green greek key lamp
This lamp is to die for. Use a vintage lamp in your room to add a designer touch.

4. White Pillow $10.99
Add some trim to these plain white pillows to make them look way more expensive then they are.

5. Green & Black Ribbon $5.70

6. Velvet green lumbar pillow $30

7. Ikea Ribba Frame $9.99
Add some vintage plates or some custom artwork to make these frames pop.

8. Cutting Edge Stencil $34.95
Instead of wallpaper use a stencil painted with black and white.

9. Gold Tray $98
I love this tray. Perfect for breakfast in bed! You just have to convince your husband to bring it to you.

Wreath Re-Do

Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
To start this week off, I have a little re-vamp of a wreath for you! I've had this wreath for years. It was getting old and faded and was falling apart.  I decided it was time for a re-do. So I pulled off all the berries and wrapped it in some fabric I had lying around the house. I used this You Tube Video by  on how to make all the ruffles. Super easy to follow!

A Little Bit of Black and White

Black and white in a room creates such a sense of sophistication. It looks effortless and Oh, So, chic. To keep it from looking cold or boring, layer with textures and unique objects for a classic timeless look that never goes out of style.

In this bedroom I love the mix of black and white, with  charcoal thrown in. Add a natural rug and silver accents and you have a well put together room.

In this room they added a lot of white with some touches of black. Throw in some Greek key fabric and mercury glass for a very sophisticated space.

What's not to love in this bedroom. Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous!

The parsons table used as a nightstand is brilliant! It gives you lots of room and can double as a desk or vanity. Even though this room isn't small it's a great idea to use in a small space!
