Brynlee's Big Girl Room
Over Christmas I was busy setting up Brynlee's big girl room.
There are still some final touches that need to be done, but it's
really close.

Jackson's Baby Blessing
Well hello there! I thought I'd pop in and introduce you to the newest member of our little family. He's delightful and absolutely squishy. He's got that good baby chub going for him. He's all smile's, and adores his sister. Whenever Bryn's around he'll give her the best giggles. We sure love him, and he makes the perfect additon to our little family!
We blessed him this Sunday and it couldn't have gone better. He was a perfect little angel, and I couldn't ask for a better baby. We had our family over after for brunch. I put together a waffle bar. First you smear your waffle in Nutella, Peanut butter, or Biscoff (a yummy cookie spread). Then you top it with whipped cream and berries. It was heavenly, put Nutella on anything and I'm sold.
I got the decor from minted. If you haven't heard of them they have the most unique and beautiful paper goods. They provided the decor for the party. It made it so easy and took the stress off me to make it look beautiful. With two kids sometimes I'm lucky if I get a shower, so to have the decorations sent right to my door was perfect. You can find party packages here.

Here's Proof
Yep, here's proof that I am indeed pregnant.(Just in case you were doubting)
I think taking pictures of myself is awkward enough, but add in being this pregnant makes me even more self conscious.

Black and White Entry's
Hello darlings! I saw this pic and just had to share, I love this entryway. The white trim and mirror behind the console make this entry bright and sunny. I also love the touches of zebra, gold and pink. Still sophisticated yet fun!

Love this entry by Samantha Pynn. It feels glam, but still very cozy. You could sit down put on your shoes, and check your make-up before your out the door.

Adding Color To A Space
In my experience, it seems as most people shy away from adding color into their homes. They are to afraid to make the jump and commitment. We wear color, are inspired by color, and gravitate towards color, but why are we afraid to use it in our homes?
Color can add so much life to a space. The tranquil feeling that a cool blue wall brings, the energy of a bright yellow pillow, or the calming feeling of green throw. We should embrace color and surround our home in colors that evoke a response in us. What's your favorite color? Use that as a starting off point and design your room around that.
If your color phobic start with something simple. A simple colored pillow or throw, stencil or wallpaper one wall in your favorite color(s), floral arrangements and accessories are always a great place to start.

I promise you once you add a little bit of color, it will make your home much more enjoyable to live in! What's you latest color obsession? I can't get enough of turquoise and coral! And as you can tell from these pictures I love pink!

Build Your Blog Conference
I had the amazing opportunity to attend the build your blog conference from six sisters. I learned a lot and met tons of great people. It was so much fun, and I would totally go again. Luckily I had this girl by my side to! Carly from Old Farm Road.
One of my favorite speakers was Brooke Walker from Studio 5.
She was so fun to hear from, and she has an adorable personality. I loved hearing her talk about ways to become an influencer. She emphasized maintaining your spirit throughout your blog. Sharing your voice and opinion and I love that! After all, that is why people come to your blog.

Project Update
I have an exciting project I would love to share with you all. While I hate showing pictures of an unfinished room, it takes forever to finally have them complete. So here is a room I have been working on. We plan on adding trim work to the fireplace and painting it white, and changing the tile to a white marble. Switching out the light fixtures, getting a new dining table and chairs. We also will be adding some different pillows and artwork. But until then her is a sneak peak of what we have accomplished so far. Enjoy!
