DIY Butterfly Wall Art

This is one of the simplest projects ever.
All you need is:
Card stock
A Silhouette Machine or you could use a Butterfly punch

We cut about 150 butterflies in assorted sizes using the silhouette machine.
We used this You Tube video on how to draw the perfect oval.
We then cut out a circle to start putting our butterflies around to give us a starting point. We used stick tack to attach all the butterflies to the wall.
Just keep placing your butterflies all around spreading them out to wherever you think they look good. Sometimes you have to rearrange them.
This project really is simple and it makes an inexpensive impact in a room. They even look better in person!

  5. So effective aren't they. I was a bit slack and bought myself one of those little shadow boxes with the butterfly art inside, yes slack but I do love it :)
