Pendant Lighting

I've been looking for some pendant lights for a clients house, and wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

I love this light! The brass is sure to add elegance to any room, It would look great above a bedside table in a bedroom, or in a cozy little reading nook. The best part is it's only $64.00!

These classic turned pendant lights from west elm are amazing! You have two colors to chose from, and they come with a soft cotton linen blend shade. These would look great in multiples over a dining table or over a kitchen island.

This hanging lantern is always a classic. They are perfect for an entryway, or grouped over an island. The blackened bronze finish goes with about any decor. Were thinking of doing this in the entry of her home!

I love the pattern on this light!

Were doing 3 of these lights over her kitchen island! I'm excited there going to be fabulous!!

Fresh Spaces

To continue my fresh theme. Here's some yummy images of clean fresh interiors.

Light aqua blue walls with bright yellow chair, touches of gold, and a cowhide rug. It's very calming but energizing all at once. I love the gold detail on the crown molding.

I love the rustic wood floor with the white crisp doors and ceiling. The molding on the walls is divine.Via Here

This Kitchen has crisp white Cabinets with bronze hardware. I love how it's mixed with a modern striped rug and light blue glass tile.Via Here

A great Runner available Here

Wouldn't you just love to live in any of these spaces? I feel at the start of a new year I have free reign to go through my home making tweaks here and there to make a more vibrant space. It's nice to welcome change into a space, or is that just me who changes my house up constantly?

Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String

"These are a few of my favorite things
  When the dog bites
  When the bee stings
  When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad"

Sorry I got a little carried away. I just LOVE that song. Yes I was singing it out loud while I was typing it. Don't judge.
I love a well wrapped gift. It makes getting the gift even more special. If someone takes the time to buy you a gift then wrap it well I get giddy inside before I even open. I also save and re-use anything I can for wrapping other presents. Anyone else? Here's some of the gifts I wrapped this year. I love the look of the simple yet elegant Kraft paper mixed with something more feminine like tulle. I also love to mix in some holiday ribbons and strings to.

I got the gift tags from here http://www.eatdrinkchic.comPin It

Deck The Halls

I got all my Christmas ornaments up! The little miss loves the Christmas lights. The only problem is she tries to pull down all my ornaments and ribbon.  I wanted to redo all my decoration this year, but since I was short on money I just tried to mix up my old ones for a new look.

I have a sideboard that I decorated and I hung a wreath in front of the mirror. Then I wrapped the lamp shades with ribbon to give it more of a festive feel. I love Christmas time, it was always my Mom's favorite holiday and she always makes it so fun. I got my love of it from her. She would always decorate well, and said that lots of lights made a Christmas tree!

I have so many great memories of 2011 it was a great year! As this new year starts I'm excited for what's yet to come. The blessings, joy, adventures and love 2012 will bring. I love the feeling of a brand new year, it helps me reassess what's important to me and make new goals.

Goals for the new year:

Starting blogging regularly

Record more of the small mommy moments by pictures and writing them down.

Try to tackle more of the DIY projects I've been wanting to do. I want to do SO many projects and have so many ideas flowing through my head, I want to do them all.

Get Organized! I love a well organized space it cuts the chaos and helps everything feel so fresh. I'm think something like this. I love how all the ribbons have a spot and are easy to find.
